Who We Are
Message from the President
Moms of the Cool, Classy, Calm and Collected Charlotte Chapter,
As President of the Charlotte Chapter, I would like to thank you for your dedication and commitment to our chapter. As we embark on our 61st year of service to the Charlotte Community, I am excited about what this program year will bring. The 2018-2019 program year will be a true celebration of our past, present, and future. It will be an opportunity to honor those who have worked tirelessly over the years to spread the mission of Jack and Jill in Charlotte and to continue to forge new paths of service.
Under the leadership of our Program Director, Krista Marshall, we will continue to shine bright like diamonds! We will continue to excel at our mission through diverse programs focused on leadership development, cultural exposure, community service, legislative advocacy and philanthropic giving.
In the spirit of celebration, I want to personally thank each of you for your smiles, your support, your dedication and your integrity. I am confident that this year will be a memorable one for years to come. The work we do in Jack and Jill is not for the faint at heart, yet you continue to work month after month in the spirit of selflessness. You pour into our children and all children the love, knowledge and positivity energy they will need to be successful in life. If ever the burden seems too heavy, I hope that you will lean on each other, step back and look at the product of your hard work - the children.
I am honored to stand on the shoulders of so many great women before us and am proud of our 61 years of service. I recognize that this organization would not be the powerhouse it is today, without you. I am proud to say that we are truly raising the next generation of African-American leaders, while enhancing the lives of all children. I am forever grateful for all the mothers who have been "for the children since 1957!"
