Who We Are
Message from the President
Welcome to our website! We are the Charlotte Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., the oldest chapter in the metropolitan Charlotte area and a part of the MARvelous Mid-Atlantic Region. With nearly sixty years of service to the community, we are proud of our legacy.
Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is a membership organization of mothers with children ages 2-19, dedicated to nurturing future African-American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving and civic duty. Membership is based on sponsorship by an active member of the chapter.
Our 100 mother members strive to enhance the lives of our children, our families and our community. Our National theme of “The Power to Make a Difference” is at the forefront of all that we do. Our mothers and families plan activities that support cultural, social, educational and civic activities. We provide each other with the village necessary to raise our children. We also advocate and help children in need. We recognize that the Black family must continue to be uplifted and know that our community is only as strong as its weakest members. The beauty of Jack and Jill is that we work, play and live together. We invite you to learn more about our chapter.
